Group Therapy is a way to interact with multiple people at the same time especially when they have a need for similar information, education, or support. Having a group allows a therapist to provide support, learning and therapy to multiple people at the same time. These groups usually have people with the same needs, desires or concerns, who are often struggling with a similar life issue. The part that makes groups so dynamic are that these people are in the same room at the same time, and they can provide insight, share previous experiences and learning, and suggest unique opportunities with others in the group. Yes – You make each other better! And you find that our mantra is supported: Your lives. Your stories. They matter!
Support for Couples – where one has a Disability or Chronic Pain
A group specifically designed to provide Education & Support for those in relationship (couples) where one partner might be struggling with chronic pain or disability and/or their caregivers (spouse/partner). Get your spot today!

- Do you struggle with chronic pain or disability and wish your relationship did not seem to focus on “IT?”
- Are you caregiver for someone with chronic pain or a disability, and you feel like all you do tend to his/her needs (cleaning, working, medication management, etc. etc. etc…)?
- Do you wish you had a place to learn how to be a couple again and an opportunity to process or get support for your struggles with this?
- Do you wish your relationship would be more about enjoying things together again?
This group will include a time of education and learning all together, then we will break into two separate groups: a support group for those who struggle with a disability and/or chronic pain and and a support group for those who care for and support them. This second group time will be an opportunity to discuss things you may be struggling with in your relationship and ways to process through those struggles. It also allows for a time of processing the educational information or allow for topics the attendees would like to discuss together.
